Bio
Brendan Wells is entering his fifth season as an assistant soccer coach overseeing game tactics, fitness and academic progress. Since 2018, Wells has helped build the men's soccer program into a national power that made the USCAA National Tournament on four occasions, won three consecutive HVIAC Regular Season Championships (2021, 2022, 2023), one HVIAC Tournament Championship (2021) and one USCAA National Championship Runner-Up (2021).
Aside from Five Towns, Wells serves as club trainer for the Massapequa Soccer Club training a variety of age levels.
At MacArthur High School, Wells was an All-Conference and All-County player and participated in the Exceptional Senior game. At SUNY Cortland, Wells was a three-year member of the men's soccer team and a member of the SUNYAC Championship team in 2008. After graduating from Cortland, Wells spent a season playing semi-professional soccer overseas in Rome, Italy.
Wells earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Economics from SUNY Cortland and resides in Massapequa, New York with his wife Amanda and their son Hunter.
